Myra Miller, PhD

Myra Miller, PhD, is a crack Independent Researcher in St. Louis– home of the National Archives at St. Louis–the world’s largest repository of American military personnel files & records. She is a world-class specialist in World War II military records, morning reports, personnel files (OMPF), rosters, and Individual Deceased Personnel Files (IDPF), and works as an Independent for Hire Researcher at the National Archives in St. Louis, Missouri and College Park, Maryland.

Myra is co-founder of Footsteps Researchers LLC, specializing in World War II research and leading footsteps tours for families who want to visit the former battlefields of loved ones. Through her non-profit, Legacy: Lost & Found, she assists in returning battlefield and war relics to the families of the soldier they once belonged. She is also an expert of the 83rd Infantry Division and works to help descendants follow in their footsteps.
